Storytelling has always been a part of my life.  Writing about Lucinda Dumpling takes me back to my childhood, growing up in a rural village in South America, where storytelling was a part of our nightly entertainment. 

My writings are inspired by life and my dreams and this includes the stories of Lucinda Dumpling, a young explorer who has special abilities to see the colour of sound and read ancient codes, and whose friend is a giant ancient flying saucepan.  

There is an organic harmony within our creative team. Individually we connected with Lucinda Dumpling in our own way.  Lucinda brings out the fun, childlike curiosity in all of us.

The Adventures of Lucinda Dumpling is a project very dear to my heart. The ingenuity and grace of the character and it's universe is very refreshing and fills your soul with hope and wonder.

When I got in touch with the character and the story for the first time, it really resonated with me and all of a sudden the image of that girl in a yellow shirt and baggy pants appeared in my mind, it was one of the fastest character developments of my career as character designer and creator, It's almost like I already knew her, she was there, waiting to come alive. It's been a pleasure to see how the stories and the characters are evolving and I cant wait to see what else Lucinda will bring to us.

Lucinda Dumpling captured my imagination from the first day I met the writer and creator, Renée Rilexie. We spent hours divulging into Lucinda's character and how she would evolve on her journey.

Creating the screen play and previsualising Lucinda has been one of the most unique projects I've worked on. Through the fantasy of Cosmic skye and the tangible reality on Earth, Lucinda allowed for an exciting development across different animated platforms. Lucinda brings a true sense of well-being and importance to Earth's evolution through her own understanding.

When working in childrens animation it is important to belive in the characters mission and how they might enlighten the audience. This is what bought me to the project. It's a brave adventure for a growing individual. I want to visit the locations in these story's that I didn't know existed. I can't wait to see how Lucinda and her best friend, Flash the flying saucepan resonates with her fellow earthlings

My favourite thing about voicing Lucinda Dumpling is working with such an open and friendly team, who give me the freedom to explore my voice in ways that feel authentic to myself.

I suppose you could say that I am free to explore my vocal range, in my own magical saucepan of a recording studio!

It is wonderful to be part of such a gentle and positive story, and I hope it continues to bring joy to many children!
